You donate home goods and building materials to ReStore.
Items are sold to the public at a fraction of regular retail prices.
Usable materials find new homes instead of ending up in landfills.
Proceeds build decent, affordable housing with local families in need.
The Habitat ReStores are retail stores open to the public. We accept donations of new and gently used furniture, housewares, building materials, tools, plumbing, electrical and much more. ReStores resell these items to the public 50-75% off retail prices. All net proceeds benefit Lake-Geauga Habitat for Humanity to build affordable, decent housing for families in need.
ReStore resale outlets provide an environmentally and socially responsible way to keep good, reusable materials out of the waste stream while providing funding for Lake-Geauga Habitat for Humanity’s community improvement work. When possible, donated building materials will be used to build and preserve Habitat homes, and extra building materials, along with furniture, appliances, and other items are sold to the public at more than 50% off retail prices.
All items are sold on a first come, first served basis. We can hold an item for one hour while you shop. Once you purchase an item you have up to a week to pick it up. Items can be picked up Wednesday through Saturday, 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. Items can be returned with the receipt within 30 days of purchase (20% restocking fee on cabinet set refunds).
We do not negotiate or haggle on prices. All of our prices are dated and we markdown items after a certain period of time. If an item is priced at more than you were looking to spend, check back in a few weeks and it may be lower.
ReStores are filled with interesting and unique merchandise unlike what you would find in any other stores. Below you will find items we typically have at Lake & Geauga Habitat Restores. If you have an item to donate, check out our complete list of Accepted Materials below. At Lake ReStore we have 25,000 sq/ft of inventory that changes daily. Make sure to check back often because the best inventory comes and goes FAST.
