Extensive interior or exterior work performed to address health and safety issues or code violations.

Aging In Place / Housing Plus

LGHFH will work alongside community partners to offer a holistic approach for applicants who are 65+ years of age. Both assessments work together to determine the scope of work and referrals for the homeowner.

Veterans Repairs Corps

Same as Critical Home Repairs with added component of engaging local veterans as part of being a Veterans Build Affiliate

Eligibility Requirements

Applicant must be the homeowner of record (on the deed)

Property must be a single-family dwelling

Income must be between 30-80% of AMI

Applicant must be current on existing mortgage

Applicant must be current on all utilities

Debt-to-income ration does not exceed 50%

Applicant must be current on homeowner’s insurance

Applicant must be current on property taxes

Taxable Income meets Area Median Income (AMI) of 100% for veterans

Veterans must provide copy of DD-214

We do not provide emergency housing. The entire process for a Habitat home, should an applicant be approved, can take anywhere from 12 to 24 months to complete.
