What is a ReStore?

The Habitat ReStores are retail stores open to the public. We accept donations of new and gently used furniture, housewares, building materials, tools, plumbing, electrical and much more. ReStores resell these items to the public 50-75% off retail prices. All proceeds benefit Lake-Geauga Habitat for Humanity to build affordable housing for low income families.

Do you have sales?

To get updates on sales and inventory, “like” us on Facebook or subscribe to our weekly email by clicking the link below. We love to give you a great deal at the Restore. Many of our items are priced at 50-75% off retail prices. Each week we have a sale, at least 20% off on surplus inventory categories like cabinets, lighting, sinks, furniture and more. You never know what you’ll find at the ReStore.

What are your store policies?

All items are sold on a first-come first-serve basis. We can hold an item for one hour while you shop. Once you purchase an item you have up to a week to pick it up. Items can be picked up Weds-Sat 10:00-3:00.

Do you negotiate?

We do not negotiate or haggle on prices. All of our prices are dated and we mark down items after a certain period of time. If an item is priced at more than you were looking to spend check back in a few weeks and it may be lower.

What do you sell at the ReStore?

ReStores are filled with interesting and unique merchandise unlike what you would find in any other stores. Below you will find items we typically have at the Habitat Restores. If you have an item to donate, check out our complete List of Accepted Materials. At ReStore we have a combined total 25,000 sq/ft of inventory that changes daily. Make sure to check back often because the best inventory comes and goes FAST.
